This is the third project in the Iris series. This iris returns to the flat structure found in Skeleton Cabinet, but it has its own unique traits. In addition to growing larger than any others in its genetic line, it doesn’t need outside assistance to move. This being hangs suspended in the air and slowly breathes. Content to simply breathe and exist in its space.

I used a stepper motor and linear rails combined with vastly improved connection design to bring this being to life and allow it to effortlessly breathe.
